Industry professionals like Siad continued extending invitations for Epstein to attend fashion events and permitted him to maintain associations with their modeling companies long after his legal troubles.

Siad recounted that Epstein personally assured him he had settled his financial obligations for his crimes. The businessman promised that “this would never happen with anybody” that Siad introduced to him. Speaking to CNN, Siad stated: “I trusted him and believed this guy was a professional person.” He further explained: “I never heard anything from anyone I introduced to him who came back to me that they had a bad situation. I believed this guy is a professional person.”

Professional Misconceptions and Business Connections

According to Siad, he had operated under the impression that Epstein served as a casting director for both Victoria’s Secret and the modeling agency MC2. However, CNN investigators found no documentary evidence to substantiate this particular claim. Department of Justice records indicate that Epstein transferred tens of thousands of dollars to Siad over the years through various business arrangements.

One message from Siad to Epstein read: “Cute French girl in Marrakesh… She said that she will (be) happy to meet you.”

In a separate instance, Siad mentioned that Epstein had requested assistance in locating an assistant. A 2018 email from Siad revealed he was searching for a “good looking young assistant” for the businessman. In another communication, Siad forwarded a photograph of a woman to Epstein, characterizing her as “very polite” and someone with “potential” as either a “model” or “assistant.” Epstein’s response was brief: “Too old.”

Extensive Documentation and Ongoing Investigations

Department of Justice files document that Siad repeatedly transmitted photographs of young women to Epstein during his travels, with several images featuring provocative poses. CNN affiliate BFMTV reported that Siad’s name appears more than 2,000 times within the DOJ’s Epstein file collection. The connections between Epstein and the French modeling sector remain under active scrutiny by French authorities.

A criminal investigation initiated this year in Paris is currently examining information connected to Siad, according to the city’s chief prosecutor. Beyond his professional relationship with Epstein, Siad had previously faced allegations of misconduct.
