Murder Charge Over Primrose Hill Stabbing

A 21-year-old man, Finbar Sullivan, has been formally accused of murder after being fatally stabbed in the Primrose Hill area. The incident occurred near a scenic viewpoint in north London on Tuesday, according to police reports. The Metropolitan Police announced that Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, a 27-year-old resident of Southbury Road, Enfield, was arrested on Friday and charged with murder on Sunday.

Ogunyankinnu is scheduled to appear at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Meanwhile, a 25-year-old individual, initially detained on suspicion of aiding the perpetrator, was released without further charges. The police authorities indicated that the inquiry remains active, with additional details yet to be confirmed.

Finbar Sullivan, a film student at the London Screen Academy, was described by his loved ones as a bright and influential figure. His father, Chris Sullivan, 65, shared with BBC London that he had lost his only son, known affectionately to friends and family as Fin. “Everyone regarded him as the light, the guiding force,” Chris said. “His presence was cherished by all, which makes this tragedy even more profound,” he added.

Another individual in his early 20s was found with stab wounds on Regent’s Park Road on the same day. He was transported to a medical facility, where his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening. The ongoing investigation continues to uncover more about the circumstances surrounding the attack.
