How Brits can earn £100 by staying in hotels

While hotel stays often require spending, some can be quite expensive.

However, a new loyalty initiative might allow UK travelers to turn their holidays into money-making opportunities. Hotels.com, a widely used booking platform, has introduced a fresh loyalty program tailored for UK residents.

Rewards for extended stays

This program, named Hotels.com Rewards, provides members with £100 in Hotels.com Cash for every 10 qualifying nights of accommodation. Members can accumulate these rewards through 10 consecutive nights or multiple stays at different hotels and holiday rentals.

Each £1 in Hotels.com Cash is equivalent to real-world currency and can be applied to thousands of lodging options on the platform.

The program will be available from April 8 to May 8, aligning with the search for ideal summer accommodations.

Simple and flexible benefits

Hotels.com Rewards provides members with £100 in Hotels.com Cash for every 10 qualifying nights of hotel stays.

Joining is free, and existing One Key members will transition seamlessly without losing their current rewards or tier status.

‘Unlike many loyalty schemes in the travel sector, this program aims to simplify the process,’ said Hari Nair, Hotels.com’s general manager. ‘Rewards shouldn’t feel like a chore. Travelers express a desire for straightforward benefits, which we’ve designed to deliver,’ Nair added.

Nair elaborated on the program’s structure: ‘The idea is straightforward: after 10 nights, members receive £100 that can be used for future stays at any hotel, anytime. No blackout dates or complicated maths required. These are your rewards and you should get to use them.’

Discounts for different tiers

In addition, Member Prices provide at least 10% off on thousands of global properties. Booking more nights advances members through tiers, resulting in greater savings.

Silver Tier members receive 15% or more in discounts, whereas Gold and Platinum tiers offer 20% off at select hotels.

Silver, Gold, and Platinum members also enjoy added benefits at VIP Access properties—hotels that consistently meet higher standards of services—where perks may include free breakfast or room upgrades.

Flexible savings options

The site features a ‘Save Your Way’ tool, granting travelers even more control over their discounts. This allows them to apply savings immediately during booking or store them as future rewards.
