He participated in a boat journey to Horn Island, a federally safeguarded barrier island celebrated for its pristine beaches, changing shoreline, and peaceful seclusion. According to family members, visiting the island with friends was a regular occurrence for Wells.
His father, Elmore Wonsley, mentioned during a "Good Morning America" interview that Wells was scheduled to resume his studies following the holiday break to begin preparations for the upcoming football season.
The Search Intensifies
